BLUEWATERS Environmental Consultants, Mag. Doris Wirth with headquarters in Vienna (Austria) and its subsidiary company, BLUEWATERS YU d.o.o. in Novi Sad are specialized in project and business development in the field of regional development, ecological infrastructure, energy efficiency and education.

 

BLUEWATERS was founded in Vienna in 1997 by Doris Wirth.

 

  

The private company now employs 11 permanent staff members and about 40 freelance experts, contracted on a framework agreement. Teams work with a combination of legal, social and technical skills and experience, aiming at practical and cost-efficient solutions. Most of BLUEWATERS’ work focuses on technical assistance and consulting, as well as on project development in the Eastern and South-Eastern European Countries.

 

Over 500 projects in 20 countries have been successfully implemented since the company’s foundation in 1997. For over 14 years BLUEWATERS provides international technical assistance, consultancy and expertise in the fields of environmental infrastructure and education in order to encourage the regional development while maintaining high professional standards and requirements. Satisfied clients, follow-up projects and long-time partnerships and networks are the best proof of the BLUEWATERS’ quality of service.

 

BLUEWATERS' services in the project development and implementation field comprise in particular, preparation of bankable documents and business plans for financial institutes, municipal decision makers and private investors. These documents, which have a strong focus on environmental and infrastructure related topics, are prepared according to the standards of national and international financing institutions (OeKB, World Bank, IFC, EBRD, and EC).

 

The long-year experience of the project “Key Accounting in Vojvodina for the Styrian Government” (2005-ongoing) with the focus on project implementation in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, waste and water management as well as legal consultancy for public and private clients, BLUEWATERS warrants the fulfillment of project goals and tasks on high quality level.

 

BLUEWATERS further identifies projects together with municipalities and other public bodies. Within this process BLUEWATERS guides the public participants in financial and technical aspects as well as contractual issues. Especially in the SEEC, there is need for information about new technologies for EE, new business models, and new methodologies. Therefore, public awareness campaigns and trainings are an essential part of every performed EE or RE project.
